Mark L. Feinberg, Co-Founder and Principal

Mark has significant experience identifying and creating a wide range of real estate and special vehicle investment opportunities as well as raising capital and structuring and participating in joint venture projects. Show more...
He has worked on real estate and development projects in excess of $2 billion across a wide array of property types. Throughout his career, Mark has fine-tuned his passion for solving complex issues and finding value by doing in-depth analysis. As an investor himself, he has a keen insight that allows him to find and manage unique opportunities.

Prior to forming Spring Street, Mark co-founded and was partner with Development Advisory Group (DAG), a full-service commercial real estate development advisory firm. Before joining DAG, Mark was a management consultant with the global consulting practice of Ernst & Young and IBM Global Services. He also founded and served as president and chief executive officer for TSI Software Inc., which provided back office support tools to companies in the hospitality industry.

Mark received a BBA from Emory University and an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He is regularly asked to speak at real estate and entrepreneur seminars. Brian has transacted and acted as an advisor on land acquisitions for developers, investment property acquisitions, surplus property dispositions, and property valuations. He also has a solid background in leasing, lease restructuring and lease terminations.

Prior to forming Spring Street, Brian co-founded and was a partner in Development Advisory Group (DAG), a full-service commercial real estate development advisory firm. As a director and chief operating officer of DAG, Brian and his team have repositioned over $50M in real estate nationwide and performed over $100M worth of real estate property valuations.

Before joining DAG, he worked with Surplus Solutions, a nationwide excess restaurant and retail real estate dispositions firm. Prior to Surplus Solutions Brian was a leasing and marketing specialist with Lincoln Harris Corporate Services Group. Brian received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University and is a licensed real estate broker, a member of the National Association of Realtors and a CCIM candidate. Karen Stone, CCIM, Vice President of Transaction Management

She has a passion for uncovering details that lead to an informed and realistic understanding of the value of an asset, and for negotiating win-win deals. During her career Karen has been responsible for acquisition, development, disposition, refinancing and leasing transactions valued at over $1 billion.

In 2000, Karen formed Stone Consulting Group, which offers due diligence, transaction management, marketing and writing services to the commercial real estate industry. Before forming her own company, Karen was vice president of marketing for Morgan Stanley Real Estate (formerly Lend Lease Real Estate Investments) where she managed the RFP department and was a due diligence coordinator for the transactions department.

Prior to Morgan Stanley/Lend Lease, Karen was vice president of transactions for BVT Institutional Investments, a German-owned real estate investment company, where she headed a team that closed over 50 transactions valued at over $500 million. Before BVT, Karen was with Branch and Associates (now Branch Properties, LLP) for 17 years, during which she was involved in acquisitions, leasing, and special projects. Prior to Branch, she was a paralegal with King & Spalding.

Karen holds a BA in communications from Florida State and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She is a CCIM, a member of the National Association of Realtors, a member of ULI Atlanta and a licensed broker in Georgia.
